hello! today is another great day of 12 days of blogging! you can find all the prompts here. kendra and i can't wait to see what recipes you have in store for us! link up with us tomorrow to share with us what you are most thankful for this Christmas season!
every year my mom makes these amazing peanut butter corn flakes with chocolate. they are AMAZING. we eat them every year at Christmas so i had to share!
oh and ps. i know i show a lot of brand names but this post is not sponsored in any way and you don't have to use these brands, any brand is fine.
combine the corn syrup and the peanut butter and put in a sauce pan on medium heat.
stir syrup and peanut butter together until it looks like this
cover a whatever size pan this is (?? you know. the normal size pan.) with parchment paper.
pour the corn flake mix onto the parchment paper. let it cool. i just put mine outside because it is 20 degrees here.
once cooled, its time to add the chocolate!
get two bags of milk chocolate chips, or even more if you want (size? you know, this size) and melt in microwave.
my trick for smooth chocolate is putting a bit of vegetable oil in with the chocolate. it keeps it very smooth!
and ta-da we have the finished product! let it sit out over night while the chocolate cools before servings so it is all stuck together and delicious. i know what i am having for breakfast!!
now please! share with us your favorite Christmas recipes! i can't wait to hear and try you recipes out!
