Lot 48: what i have learned from the real housewives

December 18, 2014

what i have learned from the real housewives

i have been watching the real housewives of NYC and am halfway through season 3 and it is so addicting.  so.  much.  drama.  it is fabulous.  these are things i have learned.
they have just absolutely amazing lines

your pino grigiot (sp?) much be full at all times, especially if you are ramona
and ramona has the CRAZIEST EYES EVERRRR.  and i could just make fun of them alllllll day

take your title as countess verrrrry seriously.  so seriously you decide to write a book on class

but then do this.

neither can the title of countess, honey.

beth is my favorite.  and i love her dearly.  she is the most real and i love her.

and this is a great gif

sleep is important for these women

cocoa puffs is the best cereal

this is the best face of all time

people are morons

you're right, jill, it's not

BEST MOMENT OF RHONYC EVER.  i was dying.  i'm like "HOW IS THIS WOMAN EVEN ALIVE.  HOW HAS SOMEONE NOT KILLED HER FROM HATRED.  i hate kelly soooo much.

right.  because posing nude for playboy when you are a mother of two isn't.

nor is running in the MIDDLE OF NYC TRAFFIC weird.

and they all have awesome dance moves.
and yes, i left alex out but you are boring and your husband is weird.  like really weird.

other things i learned that i wish i could have found gifs of:

kiss someone you know well on both cheeks in the air, someone you kind of know on one cheek, and when you meet someone for the first time, shake hand

get offended by everything

learn to play tennis

have tiny dogs

make a HUGE DEAL ABOUT EVERYTHING and tell everyone in the circle and on the show about every tiny fight you have with everyone multiple times.  and then talk about it some more.  and then some more about it.

**i watched the queen of jordan episodes of 30 rock before i watched this, and NOW I GET IT.  they were totally making fun of all of this and it is amazing.  and the girl who was up to date on her mortgage payments? CAN YOU SAY TERESA?? i also have made it through the first season of new jersey housewives.  this is the best source of time i have ever used.  jessica, stop rolling your eyes.

  1. I've never watched this show. I actually don't watch reality TV anymore. I used to watch it all the time! I know a lot of people who are obsessed with the Real Housewives though.

  2. I love this! I have been binge-watching The Real Housewives of the OC on Hulu lately, and I plan to watch NYC next. It's a totally brainless guilty pleasure of mine. Not ashamed to admit it. :)
