easy italian skillet chicken

you know that i don't like cooking.  at all.  i don't like grocery shopping either.  i don't mind doing the dishes, laundry or cleaning, so that makes me a semi successful wife, right?  but this recipe is a mama janet (ps. my mom's name is janet) classic and it is sooooo good and soooooo easy i just had to share.  i really don't know what's come over me.  the only other recipe i have shared is the easter bark i made that one time.  this is weird. i'm sharing a recipe.  someone must have taken over my brain.  that must be it.
Lot 48: Easy Skillet Italian Chicken
this recipe is so easy and my mom has made it so many times, and i have watched her make it so many times, i didn't really need to ask her for the recipe because i knew it from watching her.  but i called, just to check.

you will need:
  • to find someone to figure out who overcame my brain to make me post a recipe
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 2 cans of kidney beans
  • a bag of baby carrots
  • a bottle of Italian dressing
instructions:
cut the carrots hot dog style (as in vertically, length wise) in half.  this makes them cook much easier. throw them in the skillet with about a fourth of the italian dressing and the kidney beans.  get those cookin' for about 10 minutes.
while that's cooking, cut up the chicken.  once 10 minutes is up, throw in the chicken.
pour in the rest of the bottle of italian dressing.
cook until the chicken and the carrots and use your brain people, until everything is done.
serve.

HOW EASY WAS THAT?!?!?! and it is soooooo good!! trust me!!

okay.  phew.  i think i have my real self back now.  now go pinterest crazy to make me famous.
